New Delhi, June 12: According to the report India is one of the all-digital nations globally, India is a leader in providing 24×7 outsourcing services, and latest technology and specialised IT and software solutions. Indian outsourcing operates in banking, finance, insurance, telecommunications, manufacturing, healthcare and other sectors.

Indian-born US based software scientist Raju Chiluvuri claimed in a recent presentation on software engineering that India could be a game changer in software engineering history if India adopts real Component Based Engineering (CBE) for software.

“India is the country with the largest young population in the world and the fact that has young talented professionals in software, if I am sure that Indian IT professionals will be globally recognized as the best.”

Further he emphasized and said that India should come forward and adopt a path-breaking invention which is real CBE (Component-Based Engineering), which requires building every software product as CBP (Component-Based Product).

“Today, no software product is built as a CBP, and real software components that can be assembled to build real CBPs for software not yet invented. CBE (Component-Based Engineering) revolutionized every engineering discipline (e.g. mechanical, electronic, aerospace or computer) that employed real components and real CBE to build each large product as a CBP, where each CBP is built by assembling multiple components. Likewise, our inventions of real components for software and necessary tools and technologies for employing real CBE for software can revolutionize software engineering,” Raju said.

Scientist Raju in particular highlighted the concern that how India will become a software superpower, according to the scientist India can increase its productivity and quality in software industry by 10 times and saves around 90 percent of the maintenance cost.

“Real CBE for software increases productivity and quality by 10 times and eliminates 90% of the cost of maintenance or ownership. Since software components can be redesigned at one-tenth cost and time, it increases rate of innovation by eliminating 90% of cost of experimentation and mistakes. Furthermore, CBE can allow us to build many times more complex software than practical today to address complex problems that cannot be addressed today. This coupled with India’s ability to produce limitless supply of young engineers can help India become software superpower.” Raju Chiluvuri said.

“It increases the prestige of Indian research, since an Indian based company has patented solutions for infamous software crisis, which has been one of the greatest technological challenges eluding software researchers for over 50 years. In fact, many great software researchers concluded that it is impossible to invent solutions for infamous software crisis and spaghetti code,” attributed by US based software scientist.

Raju Chiluvuri was born in a small village near Amalapuram, Andhra Pradesh and was educated in Andhra Pradesh, later he went to the United States for higher education and research work and become a citizen of America. Since 2003 he has been researching CBE software and submitted his research to the US administration which is being monitored and talks are also underway with the Indian Govt.
